At CR Languages, learning another language is so much more than verbs and vocabulary. Learning another language is about discovering a new culture, and a new way of life. Learning another language is about personal challenge and fulfillment, and meeting somebody from another part of the world. For this reason, courses at CR Languages do not involve computer programs or audio tapes. Rather, students come together in small groups to learn first-hand from a native speaker who guides them through the process of learning and using the language.

All courses at CR Languages incorporate a ‘full-immersion’ methodology. This means your native language is rarely used in class. All major aspects of language ability are covered including grammar, pronunciation, reading, writing, comprehension, and conversation. Students are assigned homework, are expected to study outside of class, and will take exams. A full-immersion class may not be for everyone, but it is by far the most effective and rewarding way to learn another language.

CR Languages currently offers private and group lessons for English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Russian, and Mandarin.

Unless a complete beginner, all students must take a placement test.
